Local, state offices to close for Good Friday

Local and state offices will be closed Friday, April 14, in observance of Good Friday. Federal offices, post offices and banks will be open.
All Wayne County offices, the landfill and convenience centers will be closed Friday, April 14. The landfill is normally closed on Wednesdays, but will be open Wednesday, April 12.
The Senior Center will be closed on Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15.
All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed on Friday, April 14, and Saturday, April 15.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority office will be closed Friday, April 14.
The bus service will operate on a holiday schedule. The first bus will leave the transfer center at 9:30 a.m. and the last one will return at 6:30 p.m.
There will not be any extended services on the green, blue or purple route buses that evening.
City of Goldsboro offices will be closed Friday and all solid waste services Friday will be serviced instead on Wednesday, April 12.
Mount Olive town offices and the recyclable center will closed Friday. The recyclable center will be open Saturday, April 15.
Household garbage normally picked up on Friday will be on Saturday instead.
Yard waste will be picked up Monday through Thursday, April 10 to 13.
Town halls in Pikeville, Walnut Creek and Fremont will be closed Friday.
Eureka Town Hall will not close for the holiday.
