DUDLEY -- A home on South Running Deer Circle was shot into several times Wednesday night while people were inside, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report.
No injuries were reported.
The report said 23-year-old Donald Stewart and 21-year-old Jeremiah Armwood were inside 125 S. Running Deer Circle when Armwood got a call from his cousin, who said someone was coming to shoot the house up.
Armwood was at the front door when he saw a four-door brown Buick coming down the street, the report said. He told Stewart to run and then the two heard gun shots, according to the report.
The report does name a suspect in the shooting, but nobody has been charged at this time.
Stewart gave authorities several reasons why someone might come and shoot at the house, and said he got a call from the suspect the men named to deputies several days ago.
The report said the suspect named in the report has two older model Buick cars registered in his name.
Deputies recovered seven shell casings from the road near the house, and retrieved two bullets from inside the house.
The report said neither man saw who fired the shots.
