Wet weather lingers another day

Rain will continue throughout the morning following a weekend of torrential storms that moved northward across the Southeast.
Most of the wind and rain is now passing through the Northeast as a nor'easter, but the storm pattern spawned several tornadoes across the South that killed 18.
This afternoon, highs will reach 63 degrees and conditions will remain partly sunny with windspeeds averaging 7 to 16 mph, although guts as hugh as 28 mph are possible.
The chance of rain is 60 percent, and thunderstorms are possible.
