Trailer shot, nobody injured

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is investigating a Friday night shooting in which a bullet struck a woman's trailer on Indian Springs Road but nobody was injured.
Emily Mazur, 32, of 1795 Indian Springs Road, Mount Olive, reported to authorities she was inside her trailer when she heard something strike the structure.
After looking around, Mazur found two holes in the outside wall of the trailer and one in the ceiling.
According to an incident report, the bullet appeared to have struck the outside wall before ricocheting and striking the ceiling and then lodging itself back in the wall.
A bullet was recovered from the scene and taken in as evidence, the report said.
Mazur told authorities it is not uncommon to hear gunshots but that she did not see anyobdy around her residence when the shooting happened.
