Authorities are investigating a Sunday morning armed robbery at 809 Prince Ave.
Three people were inside the home around 11:15 a.m. when a 6-foot-tall black man wearing all black came into the house and held them at gunpoint, according to an incident report.
The man then stole jewelry, money and a cell phone from the people inside the home.
Maj. Anthony Carmon, head of the Goldsboro Police Department's Investigative Services Bureau, said the door to the home was unlocked.
"It was unlocked but it's still considered a break-in," Carmon said.
According to the report, the man stole $400, a gold chain with Jesus' face on it worth $140 and a white Samsung cell phone worth $180.
The man was wearing a black shirt, black pants and a black bandana, the report said.
He fled the scene on foot heading west.
There are no suspects at this time.
