Wilson man charged for possession of methamphetamine

A man was arrested for the possession of methamphetamine by the Goldsboro and Wayne County REACT Team after a traffic stop Friday.
Alston Clifton Bass, 20, of 7825 Tedder Road in Wilson was charged with possession of methamphetamine after the REACT Team allowed a K9 to search his car.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Bass has outstanding felony warrants in Wilson County for felony larceny, larceny of a motor vehicle and obtaining property by false pretense.
Bass is in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond.
