Goldsboro man charged with forgery

A Goldsboro man has been charged with forgery after an investigation conducted by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office into checks being stolen from someone in northern Wayne County.
Davidson Bailey Scheu, 22, of 1110 Buck Swamp Road, was charged with felony forgery, felony uttering and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense after allegedly passing a check taken from the residence and selling property that was also reported stolen from the residence in northern Wayne County.
Scheu was given a $10,000 secured bond.
