Meth lab found in local hotel

A local man and woman were arrested for charges related methamphetamine following a search of their hotel room Monday.
Rena Castilleja, 38, was arrested and charged for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine, conspiracy to traffick methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Lisa Marie Lester, 31, was arrested and charged for alleged conspiracy to traffick methamphetamine. Castilleja was placed under a $200,000 secured bond and Ms. Lester was placed under a $50,000 secured bond.
Members of the Wayne County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team began an investigation Monday into the illegal sell and distribution of methamphetamine at a local hotel in Goldsboro, located at 701 U.S. 70 Bypass.
During the investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the room occupied by Castilleja and Ms. Lester.
When the room was searched, 75 grams of crystal methamphetamine were found.
