The Goldsboro Police Department is searching for a former Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County employee who allegedly sexually assaulted two underage females while working at the club.
Christopher Devon Sims, 23, whose last known address is 710 W. Holly St. in Goldsboro, is wanted on charges of first-degree sex offense with a child, indecent liberties with a child and sex offense by a custodian.
Sims has two other possible addresses, 1305 E. Holly St. and 908 A Slaughter St. He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and of medium complexion.
Maj. Anthony Carmon said the report came to the police department after a complaint was filed by the victims' families. He said the Boys and Girls Club also did their own inquiry.
Sims worked at the Boys and Girls Club at the time of the alleged assaults, but was terminated after the in-house inquiry, Carmon said.
Boys and Girls Club of Wayne County Director Mary Ann Dudley said Sims was let go in 2014 immediately after the club conducted its own investigation.
"We take the youth protection very seriously here," she said. "And we are cooperating fully with the police and their investigation," Mrs. Dudley added.
Warrants for his arrest were obtained this week, but Sims was not at his listed address when police went to pick him up.
"We don't know where he is at. We're looking for the community to help out," Carmon said.
