A Goldsboro man sought by the U.S. Marshals Task Force is in custody and is being held in the Wayne County Detention Center today under a $9,000 secured bond.
Jonathan David Goodman, 30, of 147-A Forest Knolls Road, is charged with larceny after breaking and entering, larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, speeding, and driving while license revoked.
Goodman was located by patrol officers with the Goldsboro Police Department's C-Shift at Cameron's Club House and Grille at 2215 E. Ash St. at 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Maj. Anthony Carmon said the federal task force often works with local agencies when searching for a suspect.
"If they contact us, a request for assistance or if we get a message from them, we will assist them," he said.
Carmon said task forces are common and are generally comprised of federal agents and a local officer that has been assigned to it.
Goodman is next due to appear in Wayne County District Court Nov. 24.
