Billy Langston of the Goldsboro Sanitation Department disposes of the Paramount Theatre Christmas tree early today by putting it into a compactor. City residents who are ready to get rid of their trees can call the Public Works Department at 919-739-7450 to schedule a time for them to be picked up and converted into mulch.
