A woman was found shot to death in this van parked on Humphrey Street early this morning. Goldsboro police consider the death a homicide.
The Goldsboro Police Department is investigating the death of an unidentified woman found in a van on Humphrey Street this morning.
The vehicle was peppered with bullet holes.
Maj. Al King said the cause of death will not be known until an autopsy is performed, but investigators are considering the incident a homicide.
The shooting took place around 6 a.m.
When lawmen arrived at the scene, they marked nearly a dozen shell casings as evidence and noted several bullet holes on the passenger side -- and rear -- of the van.
