Braddock Gross
On Aug. 24, 2014 Justin Kornegay of Albertson and Briana Oliver of Raleigh reported to the Goldsboro Police that they met that evening and then eventually picked up an acquaintance of Oliver's, named Braddock Gross, and a second, unidentified male, and took them to a restaurant on Spence Avenue.
After some time at that location, Gross and the unidentified suspect began to direct the victim at gunpoint to various locations throughout the city of Goldsboro and Wayne County.
While en route to the locations, Gross and the unidentified suspect began assaulting Mr. Kornegay. During the course of this assault, Gross and the second suspect ordered Kornegay to ATM machines where he was robbed, then eventually to a residence at 316 Fedelon Trail, where he was subsequently shot.
Eventually, Kornegay was released and Ms. Oliver drove Mr. Kornegay to Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Warrants were secured on Braddock Gross for attempted first degree murder, first degree kidnapping and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The Goldsboro Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying the second, suspect in this case and locating Braddock Gross.
