Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies responding to a suspicious person report in Princeton Thursday night found a man dressed in all black inside a residence.
The homeowner was not home.
Joseph Lee Braswell, 22, of 210 Dennis Drive, Princeton, is charged with breaking and entering and possession of a controlled substance in jail.
A concerned citizen called to report a white male wearing all black clothing lurking behind the residence at 217 Dennis Drive.
Deputies went to the scene and noticed a rear door slightly open. Lt. Sherwood Daly and Deputy Chris Kimbrell went inside.
The lawmen located Braswell inside the home coming out of a back bedroom wearing dark clothing and a black hoodie. They placed him under arrest without incident.
Maj. Tom Effler said Braswell claimed to be the homeowner's nephew.
"Either he wasn't her nephew, or he was but he didn't have permission to be there," Effler said.
Braswell is being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $7,000 secured bond.
He is due in Wayne County District Court Monday on the controlled substance charge.
He will also have to be in court Dec. 16 to answer for the breaking and entering charge.
