Ruth Moose, a renowned poet, and the author of a brand new book, shares a reading and some thoughts about her craft.

More than 60 people gathered at the home of Dave Ham and Betty Duncan on Park Avenue Saturday to enjoy the works and stories of two famous authors -- and to support literacy efforts in their community.

The annual Reading Between the Wines benefit mixed an evening of fine wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres with a chance to hear featured speakers author Michael Malone and poet and author Ruth Moose.

Proceeds from the benefit will be used for Literacy Connections, an organization that offers literacy education for adults in Wayne County.
