Goldsboro police have charged a man they say is responsible for breaking into the same local business on two separate occasions and stealing money.
Joel Allen Register, 34, 2447 Old Grantham Road, is charged with two counts each of breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and safecracking.
Register is being held in the Wayne County Jail under a $24,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in Wayne County District Court later today.
Police say Register broke into the Valvoline Instant Oil Change at 604 N. Spence Ave., on June 23 and again on July 10.
Both times he allegedly broke into the business, forced open a safe and took money, the report said.
