Three charged in series of break-ins

Three people have been charged by Wayne County Sheriff's Office deputies following a continuing investigation into several break-ins and larcenies across the county.
Charged were:
* Kristen Smith, 23, 202 Southern Pine Drive, one count of felony breaking and entering, larceny and possession of stolen goods and three counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense, $25,000 bond
* Taylor Nicole Rose, 23, 1221 Hinnant Road, Pikeville, five counts of felony breaking and entering, four counts of felony larceny and three counts of felony possession of stolen goods, $52,400 bond
* Daniel Steven Marino, 18, 602 Goldleaf Drive, three counts of breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny, one count of felony attempted larceny, and one count of felony possession of stolen goods, $25,000 bond.
Some of the property has been recovered from area businesses, resulting in false pretense charges being made.
