The Wayne County Sheriff's Office has charged three men in connection with a breaking and entering in the Pleasant Acres community on June 23.
Donte Priester, 21, of 109 S. Running Deer Circle, Shamar Coleman, 20, of 1492 W. Grantham St., and Jacoby Aldridge, 18, of 3332 U.S. 117 Alt., are charged with a single count each of breaking and entering. All three men were placed in the Wayne County Jail July 11, each under a $5,000 secured bond.
According to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office press release, deputies responded to the Dudley community of Pleasant Acres after witnesses saw three men outside a trailer and one of the men kicked in the door.
A witness chased the three men but lost them, the press release said.
An investigation has been under way since and witness statements leading to follow-up interviews with the suspects resulted in their being charged.
