Albert Lioen, Wayne County Amateur Radio Association member, adjusts a 10-meter antenna for his satellites before the Amateur Radio Relay Field Day began on Saturday afternoon at Greenwood Middle School. Lioen has been working with radios for 24 years, and his satellites can reach anywhere in the United States and some places internationally. The field day is a national event that is celebrated by the Wayne County Amateur Radio Association annually. There were numerous stations to learn about during this year's field day, which include VHF, HF, CW, satellite and digital.
