The Goldsboro/Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force has charged two people with manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine after responding to a call regarding property damage at a home in Dudley on Thursday.
Michael Britt Holmes, 23, and Kristen Rene Little, 19, both of 128 Heather Ann Lane, are charged with one count each of manufacturing and trafficking in methamphetamine, according to a press release issued by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Both Holmes and Ms. Little were placed in the Wayne County Jail under $200,000 and $125,000 secured bonds, respectively.
Patrol deputies responded to the residence to investigate a call of property damage. While on scene, however, the lawmen received information that Holmes and Ms. Little were involved in manufacturing methamphetamine.
The suspects consented to a search of their home and property, according to the report.
Investigators found approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, as well as evidence related to the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The State Bureau of Investigation responded to assist with the investigation.
