A Goldsboro man is in the Wayne County Jail today on charges of sexual assault against a minor.
Investigators charged Benjamin Franklin Stone, 31, 1305 E. Mulberry St., with statutory sex offense of a child by an adult Friday. He was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $200,000 secured bond.
The charges stem from an incident that allegedly took place in the early months of 2014, according to the release.
The victim, not identified due to the nature of the crime, was a family member, the report said.
