Full Size"I am relieved with the guilty verdict and speechless at the same time. I thank God, first and foremost, and I thank Det. Dwayne Bevell ... and Assistant District Attorney Matt Delbridge for his strong and diligent pursuit for justice for Kennedy. Justice prevailed and medical evidence proved my son did not shoot himself. Common sense tells us all that Kennedy didn't sit down in a vehicle with three people and pull out a weapon to rob them. Kennedy's only mistake was delivering marijuana to the defendant. Although it was not a good decision, it shouldn't have cost him his life. Let this be a lesson to everyone."
