It seemed that neither 1-year-old Scott Massey nor Junebug the donkey knew what to make of the other during Thursday night's Open Pony and Mule Show at the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fair. Starting young is a Massey family tradition -- Scott's father, Matt, started showing when he was about the same age. Also held Thursday night was the Open Horse Show. The two popular shows featured a variety of categories of animals to be shown as well as age divisions. The shows attracted 81 participants representing six counties and for the first time was held under a large open-sided tent instead of in the grandstand arena.
