Jayden Bond, 3, shares some of his ice cream with his sister Jocelyn Bond, 7, Thursday at the Fourth of July Celebration at Westbrook Park in Mount Olive. The event was sponsored by the Exchange Club of Mount Olive, along with businesses and other civic groups.
Hundreds of people watched sparkling fireworks at Berkeley Mall from nearby businesses and parking lots Thursday night as the weather turned perfect for a night out. Mount Olive will hold its annual fireworks show Saturday night at the Mount Olive Airport.
