One Wayne County man is recovering and two others are in jail following a shooting Wednesday just before 2 p.m. at the entrance of Stoney Manor Mobile Home Park near Patetown Road.
Troy Montreal Eberhardt, 25, of 2106 Church St., was struck at least once by shots fired from what witness reports described as a dark colored Chevrolet Impala. He was driven to Wayne Memorial Hospital and met by detectives from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.
Based on the vehicle description, Goldsboro Police located Michael Deleon Fair'Tune, 20, of 211 Alpha Arm Circle, and Rashad Jaquan Burt, 23, of 103 Tiffany Road, in the vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Alpha Arms housing complex.
The pair were found in possession of three firearms and are now in Wayne County Jail facing charges of discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle inflicting serious injury, and possession of a controlled substance on jail premises.
Both men are being held under $300,000 bonds.
