Crime of the Week helps nab 'peeper'

A Goldsboro man was arrested Thursday for allegedly trying to use his cellphone to take a photo up a 31-year-old woman's skirt on Tuesday at the Walmart of Spence Avenue.
The arrest, police said, came after the suspect was identified through tips generated by the incident being featured as the Crime of the Week in Wednesday's News-Argus.
Arrested was Brian Alan Williams, 31, of 105 Robinson Drive. He was charged with felonious secret peeping using a photographic device. He was arrested at his residence without incident and placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond.
His first court appearance was scheduled for Friday.
