* Capt. Francis "Piston" Imlay -- Imlay, a pilot assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron, was killed March 28, 2012, when his aircraft crashed near a base in Southwest Asia.

* Capt. Mark "Pitbull" McDowell -- McDowell, a pilot assigned to the 336th Fighter Squadron, was killed July 18, 2009, when his aircraft went down near Nawur, Afghanistan.

* Capt. Thomas "Lag" Gramith -- Gramith, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 336th Fighter Squadron, was killed July 18, 2009, when his aircraft went down near Nawur, Afghanistan.

* Capt. Eric "Boot" Das -- Das, a pilot assigned to the 333rd Fighter Squadron, was killed April 7, 2003, when his aircraft went down during a bombing mission near Tikrit, Iraq.

* Maj. William "Salty" Watkins III -- Watkins, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 333rd Fighter Squadron, was killed April 7, 2003, when his aircraft went down during a bombing mission near Tikrit, Iraq.

* Lt. Col. William Morel III -- Morel, a pilot assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron, was killed Oct. 21, 1998, when his aircraft went down during a night training mission near McDermitt State Airport in Oregon.

* Capt. Jeffrey "Flounder" Fahnlander -- Fahnlander, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 391st Fighter Squadron, was killed Oct. 21, 1998, when his aircraft went down during a night training mission near McDermitt State Airport in Oregon.

* Capt. Dennis White -- White, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 336th Fighter Squadron, was killed April 18, 1995, when his aircraft went down during a night training mission over the Atlantic Ocean.

* Maj. Bruce "Phoid" Netardus -- Netardus, a pilot assigned to the 57th Wing, was killed Aug. 10, 1992, when his aircraft crashed into the Nevada desert.

* Lt. Col. Wendell "Sheik" Johnson -- Johnson, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 57th Wing, was killed Aug. 10, 1992, when his aircraft crashed into the Nevada desert.

* Maj. Thomas "Teek" Koritz -- Koritz, a pilot assigned to the 335th Fighter Squadron, was killed Jan. 16, 1991, during the initial wave of attacks on Iraqi military targets.

* Lt. Col. Donnie "Chief Dimpled Balls" Holland -- Holland, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 335th Fighter Squadron, was killed Jan. 16, 1991, during the initial wave of attacks on Iraqi military targets.

* Maj. Peter Hook -- Hook, a pilot assigned to the 336th Fighter Squadron, was killed Sept. 30, 1990, when his aircraft went down during a training mission designed to prepare 4th Fighter Wing aircrew for Operation Desert Storm.

* Capt. James "Boo Boo" Poulet -- Poulet, a weapon systems officer assigned to the 336th Fighter Squadron, was killed Sept. 30, 1990, when his aircraft went down during a training mission designed to prepare 4th Fighter Wing aircrew for Operation Desert Storm.
