PRINCESS AND 'PRINCE': Payton Williams, dressed as Cinderella, with her goat in a Prince Charming outfit, is seen during the Costume Contest at the Junior Livestock Show and Sale on Thursday night. The show ended with the costume contest, a City Slicker Contest and sale.
The following are the winners from the Wayne County Junior Livestock Show and Sale's Thursday morning Market Hog Showmanship Contest:
Novice
1st, Oliver Thomas; 2nd, Tyler Norris; 3rd, Skylar Craig; 4th, Riley Hatch; 5th, India Young.
Junior
1st, Taylor Glover; 2nd, Jensen Barwick; 3rd, Gabrielle Young; 4th, Daniel Dunn; 5th, Caleb Heath.
Senior
1st, Alan Johnson; 2nd, John David Howard; 3rd, Alec Linton; 4th, Mary Dunn; 5th, Madisen Barwick.
More than 80 youths competed in the 65th annual show and sale held Wednesday and Thursday at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
The Wednesday events were the goat and calf show.
