W.A. Foster Recreation Center assistant Viola Kinney helps Trisond Gerald, 8, stir the noodles for Hamburger Helper during the cooking program at the center. The program teaches children how to prepare food, clean up after themselves and how easy it can be to eat nutritious food. The program operates on a bi-weekly basis and volunteers are welcome to come in and teach the kids their favorite recipes.
