Arrest made in Teasers murder

The man Goldsboro police say was both caught on tape and reported by witnesses to have shot and killed 18-year-old Jairus Mikeal Saunders inside Teasers nightclub a month ago was apprehended Thursday, and placed in the Wayne County Jail without bond.
Quinton Leon Swinson Jr., 24, was taken into custody without incident about 4 p.m. by the Goldsboro Police Department's Selective Enforcement Unit, with the assistance of SWAT Team members from the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, at 215 Dogwood Drive in Mount Olive. He was charged with an open count of murder.
Swinson, of 213 Brookwood Drive, also faces 11 other charges from previous cases for which he had outstanding warrants, according to a press release issued by police Thursday.
Among the additional charges are moving violations, as well as one count of disorderly conduct and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Although he will be held without bond on the homicide count, Swinson was given a $12,500 secured bond for the remaining charges, and is scheduled to have a first appearance in court on Monday.
The nightclub has since had its license to sell alcohol pulled, although patrons can still bring in their own beer.
