916th names new commander

By the end of the summer, the 916th Air Refueling Wing will have a new commander.
Air Force officials announced late Wednesday that Col. Gregory S. Gilmour, the current commander of Tinker Air Force Base's 507th Operations Group, will be the next leader of the Reserve wing. He will replace Col. Randall Ogden during a ceremony tentatively scheduled for the end of August.
Gilmour was not available for comment by press time.
He is a command pilot with more than 4,000 flight hours and has earned several prestigious awards and decorations. Among them are:
* Meritorious Service Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster
* Air Medal
* Air Force Commendation Medal
* Navy Commendation Medal with 2 Gold Stars
* Joint Meritorious Unit Award with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters
* Meritorious Unit Award
* Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster
* Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation with 2 Bronze Stars
* Coast Guard Meritorious Unit Commendation with Operational 'O' Device
* Combat Readiness Medal with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster
* National Defense Service Medal
* Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal
* Global War on Terrorism Service Medal
* Armed Forces Service Medal
* Sea Service Deployment Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars
* Air Force Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border
* Air Force Longevity Service Medal with 3 oak leaf clusters
* Armed Forces Reserve Medal with 1 'M' device
* Air Force Training Ribbon
* NATO Medal
