Man, 27, charged in September murder

A man has been charged in connection with a September murder.
Goldsboro police arrested Antonio Jamar Seaberry, 27, of 2003 Rose St., in connection with the Sept. 17 shooting death of Laquan Devon Pearsall, 20.
Pearsall was shot behind an apartment building in the 1100 block of North Jefferson Street at about 11 p.m.
Police found Pearsall's body after responding to a call of shots fired.
The State Bureau of Investigation assisted with the arrest.
Seaberry was placed in the Wayne County Jail under no bond.
His first appearance is scheduled for Dec. 12.
Police say the investigation is continuing and additional arrests are anticipated.
