A Caterpillar 320 Track Hoe from Monteith Construction tears down an exterior wall of the building in the Eastern Wayne Middle School complex. Demolition of the eighth-grade classroom building at the school began Tuesday, as part of the $17.7 million construction and renovation project there and at Norwayne Middle. Workers are also in the process of removing asbestos from the administrative building and other classrooms before those structures are torn down in the coming weeks.
