Deputies look for missing woman
The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is requesting assistance from the public in attempting to find a 26-year-old Goldsboro woman who has been missing for more than a week.
Latoria Renea McClarin voluntarily left her residence, 147 Wharton Lane, with an acquaintance on Nov. 1 and told family members she would be right back.
She has not been seen since.
Ms. McClarin is approximately 5 feet 7 inches, about 190 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Family members believe the acquaintance that Ms. McClarin was last seen with is named Ray and that he may be from Wilson.
According to the report, family members are concerned because Ms. McClarin has been without required medication since she left the home.
Anyone with any knowledge of Ms. McClarin's location should call local law enforcement or the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at 731-1481.
Break-ins reported
* Gary Scott reported to Wayne County Sheriff's Office a break-in that occurred at his neighbors' home at 578 Sandhill Drive between Sunday and Monday. According to the incident report, the back door of the home, belonging to airman Sean Schaeffer was kicked in and the following items were stolen: a $1,700 flat-screen television, a $300 .22 scope and a $500 computer.
* A home at 1209 Judy Place was broken into Monday. A resident of the home Steven Taylor, told Goldsboro police the suspect(s) entered the home through a rear sliding door, after throwing a rock through the glass. Stolen items include two flat-screen televisions and a video game console. The total amount of damages and property loss was reported $2,600.
HVAC system stolen
The owner of a home at 1300 Clingman St., Asim Ishaq, reported to Goldsboro police the theft of a $6,000 HVAC unit from the home between Sunday and Monday.
