Teen, 19, held in statutory rape case

A 19-year-old Goldsboro man has been arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with a girl six years his junior.
Dajour Maurice Hall was charged by Goldsboro police Friday with statutory rape and statutory sex offense.
Police say Hall, of Prince Avenue, was an acquaintance of the 13-year-old, who is also a Goldsboro resident, when the alleged offense took place in June.
An aunt of the alleged victim filed the report on June 29, police said.
Hall was taken into custody at East Elm Street and placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $750,000 secured bond.
