It was the perfect weekend for a graduation -- except for a few bolts of lightning and some thunder threatening during the final minutes of Rosewood's ceremony on Friday, the weather cooperated for the outdoor events and each went off without a hitch. 894 students received diplomas from Rosewood, Eastern Wayne, Goldsboro, Charles B. Aycock and Spring Creek high schools. See individual stories on each graduation in today's edition of The News-Argus. And visit our photo galleries from each. Ceremonies at Southern Wayne will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Kornegay Arena on the campus of Mount Olive College.
