Sychtysz new Walnut Creek manager

The board of directors of the Walnut Creek Country Club has announced the employment of David Sychtysz as general manager.
Sychtysz comes to Wayne County from Cavalry Golf and Country Club in Syracuse, N.Y., the largest private golf club in central New York, where he served as general manager for the past six years.
Prior to moving to Syracuse, he was general manager of the the Country Club of Mendon for two years and the Eagle Vale Golf and Country Club for six years. Both clubs are in the Rochester, N.Y., area.
Sychtysz has also had extensive dining experience during eight years as general manager of Mapledale Party House in Rochester. The facility had a capacity of more than 2,000 and hosted hosted weddings, banquets and political events. He also worked 11 years in Utica, N.Y., in the restaurant and lodging business.
Sychtysz has extensive knowledge in the areas of planning and start-up of clubs and resorts, amenity package development and execution from marketing and cost effectiveness standpoints, public and member relations, advertising and promotions, policy and procedure development and implementation and personnel management with organizational and motivational strengths.
