Goldsboro firefighters, Capt. Bernard Patterson, left, engineer Gigi Eason, Capt. Joe Johnson and firefighter Alton Lewis, operate an attack line during a recent training session. The session was held for those firefighters who want to learn to drive the trucks and to be pump operators. Among the skills necessary to learn are how to control the pumps, as well as how best to position a truck to effectively fight a fire.
