Office manager charged in theft

An office manager at a Goldsboro doctor's office has been charged with embezzling more than $100,000.
Deborah Jean Holland, 46, of Damon Drive, Princeton, was arrested by the Goldsboro Police Department last week.
The charge stems from a report filed Dec. 1, 2010, on behalf of Goldsboro OB-GYN Associates on Hospital Road.
The report alleges that while working as office manager at the business, Ms. Holland embezzled nearly $200,000 through fraudulent credit card and company check purchases between March 31, 2005 and Oct. 4, 2010.
Ms. Holland was placed in the Wayne County jail under a $50,000 secured bond.
