Illuminated by candlelight, Danielle Brown explains what a typical Christmas meal would have been for Charles B. Aycock and his family during the late 19th century. The holiday feast would include chicken, collards, biscuits and plum pudding. Ms. Brown's re-enactment was part of the Gov. Charles B. Aycock Birthplace State Historic Site Christmas tour. Another tour will be 6:30-9 p.m. Thursday.
