Teen pregnancy forum Saturday

MOUNT OLIVE -- In observance of "Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month," Wayne Action Teams for Comnunity Health's Teen Pregnancy Prevention Task Force will hold the first ever "Teen/Parents Forum" on Saturday, May 15, at Gospel Light United Holy Church of Mount Olive from 12:30 until 4 p.m.
The forum is free but pre-registration is encouraged. To pre-register, call 731-6932.
The goal of the forum is to educate teenagers, as well as parents, about how to communicate about sex and to provide information on pregnancy rates and sexual diseases.
Speakers will be from the state Department of Justice, the county Health Department, WATCH, WAGES and the Boys & Girls Club.
