Goldsboro Parks And Recreation department employee Landon Fleming drives the final spike into the Kiwanis Miniature Train track at Herman Park Monday afternoon. Fleming drove in more than 2,000 spikes when replacing the train's track, which was recently replaced for the first time since the attraction opened more than 50 years ago. The project, originally estimated to cost roughly $70,000, was completed for less than half that, thanks to the efforts of club members who volunteered their time to lead the project.
