Walk for Hunger

Participants in the annual Walk For Hunger get started at Herman Park on Sunday afternoon. Volunteers walked or ran 4.3 miles through the city to raise money for United Church Ministry programs that help the needy throughout the year. The walk, which has been held for nearly 30 years, is the group's only annual fundraiser. The warm, sunny weather drew a big crowd for the event.
