Father arrested in baby's death

A father charged with an open count of murder in the death of a 6-month-old was arrested at his mother's home on Tuesday morning, Goldsboro Police said.
Ronald Everette Smith was being held without privilege of bond in anticipation of a first appearance in court, police Sgt. Chad Calloway said.
