UPDATE: Police Sgt. Chad Calloway said Gary Denard Harvey, 19, of Dudley, will not be charged in the robbery.
"As we speak, we've just had a change of events," Calloway said. "Right now, he (Harvey) is not going to be charged."
But two others arrested earlier in the day would stay in police custody, the sergeant said.
Goldsboro police said they arrested two people for a Hampton Inn robbery on Friday, an incident in which two employees were shot.
Police also say one of the arrested suspects, 20-year-old Alysha Jeannette Williams of Vanderbilt Circle, is six-months pregnant.
Lead investigator Dwayne Dean reported that Ms. Williams, of Vanderbilt Circle and Jonathan Glenn Sinclair of Gulley Street, were responsible for the armed Hampton Inn robbery.
The pair are charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, according to arrest reports.
Ms. Williams, 20, and Sinclair, 16, allegedly walked into the Hampton Inn and demanded money in a botched armed robbery that left the two clerks injured.
Ms. Williams was being held under a $200,000 bond, while Sinclair was being held under a $500,000 bond, according to police.
