Three sought in botched Goldsboro robbery

Wayne County EMS prepares to load one of two victims who were shot shortly before lunch Thursday at the Hampton Inn at the corner of Spence and Royall avenues in Goldsboro.
Goldsboro police are seeking three people in connection with an attempted armed robbery Thursday at the Hampton Inn on North Spence Avenue that left two employees wounded.
According to the Goldsboro Police Department, two employees of the hotel, Stephen King and Amanda Justice, were shot at the front desk shortly before 11 a.m.
King was shot in the leg and Ms. Justice was shot in the buttocks as she attempted to flee the shooter. Neither injury was life-threatening and both were taken to the Wayne Memorial Hospital, where they were treated and released.
James Hill was making a telephone call outside the building when he heard the shooting.
"I just heard something like pow, pow. Next thing I knew, I heard the cop cars," Hill said.
Police are looking for a black woman in her early 20s, about 5 feet 2 inches or 5 feet 3 inches tall and approximately 150-160 pounds, who is possibly pregnant. She was wearing a white short-sleeve top with a hood and sunglasses.
Also, investigators are looking for a black man about 18-23 years old, reportedly thin in build, 5 feet 8 inches or 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 120-135 pounds and wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a bandana; and a second black man with his hair in either braids or cornrows, wearing jeans and a blue-and-white shirt..
