Goldsboro high school freshmen Mahogany Kornegay, left, and Cherisse White raise the American flag early today as they do every Tuesday morning at Goldsboro High. Students in the Wayne County Public School system are busy getting prepared for the end of the school year. Graduations will be held this week, starting with Southern Wayne on Thursday night. Goldsboro High seniors will turn tassels on Friday with the ceremony starting at 6:30 p.m.
