Boykin

Goldsboro police say a Dudley man who pulled a gun on two clerks late Monday morning at the Breakers gasoline station on North Berkeley Boulevard has been arrested.

Keith Douglas Boykin, 45, Sandhill Drive, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon after forcing his way into the small attendant's booth and brandishing a handgun shortly after 11:30 a.m.

The two women at the station reportedly fought him off and no property was stolen.

Boykin was apprehended without incident at his home Wednesday with the help of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Investigator Dwayne Dean said.

He was placed in the Wayne County Jail under a $10,000 secured bond pending his first appearance, which was scheduled for today.
