The Pikeville Lions Club will host is sixth annual golf tournament to help raise money for the visually impaired on Thursday at Lane Tree Golf Course.
The entry fee is $50. There will be $10,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one on No. 8 -- a par-3 hole -- and prizes for holes-in-one on any other par-3 hole.
For more information on entering or becoming a sponsor, call Melvin Wells at 735-2770 or Noah Sites at 242-4151.
The event has raised more than $35,000 to help the visually impaired. Proceeds go to support Camp Dogwood, which allows about 800 visually impaired people the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, and to help the visually impaired in other ways, including furnishing eye exams and glasses for students.
